Where Are They Now? Jason "Caesar" Wolff

Friends of the Wyndham Championship will remember Jason Wolff as the 1997-98 Membership Vice President of the Greensboro Jaycees. The ggoblogger was reading the Thursday, December 27, 2007 issue of The Rhinoceros Times and spotted Capt. Wolff on page 46 of the "Rhinos Around the World".

The ggoblogger would like to thank Jason for his service and we wish him well in the new year.

2002 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic Forest Oaks Money Clip

This rare piece celebrates both the golf tournament held in Greensboro, North Carolina since 1938 as well as the course it has been held on since 1977. The 2007 tournament marked the 30th time the event had been held at Forest Oaks Country Club.

Forest Oaks has also played host to the event longer than any other single course, boasting more than thirty consecutive years of history from 1977 to 2007.

What's on eBay?-1975 GGO Decanter

The ggoblogger came across this decanter listed in the Greensboro section of eBay and had to stop and think about the loss of Larry Heath. Larry was the 1975 Greater Greensboro Open General Chairman that we lost on Tuesday, September 11, 2007. The ggoblogger can not look at this decanter and not think about how proud Larry was of the tournament and his involvement over the years. It's hard to believe that his GGO was 32 years ago. We miss you larry.
