"This item is a form for purchasing tickets to the 1973 GGO - Greater Greensboro Open held March 26 - April 1, 1973 The GGO, now known as the Wyndham Championship has been part of the PGA tour for decades. In 1973, the PGA tour included golf greats Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Gary Player and many more. That year, Chi-Chi Rodriguez went on to win the GGO. The paper form is approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and is mint condition. There are no marks, creases or edge wear on this 45+ yr old item. On the front of the brightly colored form, it has GGO since 1938 / springtime is GGO time! / March 26-April 1st / Greater Greensboro Open. On the back side of the form printed in green, it lists the daily on course ticket pries along with activities that day and how to submit payment.

Wyndham Championship Purchases Second Sedgefield Property

The Wyndham Championship expanded its footprint again with its purchase of a second house near the Sedgefield Country Club clubhouse. The 80th annual Wyndham Championship, which will determine the $10 Million Wyndham Rewards Top 10, is set for July 30-Aug. 4, 2019. The house, located at ­5412 Dorchester Road adjacent to the 18th green behind the clubhouse, was purchased by the Piedmont Triad Charitable Foundation, the body that oversees tournament operations. This transaction follows the recently-announced purchase of the house at 5400 Dorchester Road, adjacent to the 10th tee. Current plans for these properties include general maintenance and upgrades to prepare them for use as a hospitality venue or similar during the Wyndham Championship and as housing during the AJGA Wyndham Invitational in June. These transactions follow the 2017 purchase of the property between East and West Sedgefield Drives which now serves as the tournament’s “Gold Parking” area and Uber pickup/drop off location. “As we plan for the future, these two properties make a lot of sense because of their locations, next to the 10th tee and the 18th green,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “We are still in the planning stages of what we’ll do with these two properties, but like I said when we announced the first house back in January, the Wyndham Rewards Top 10 is a game changer for the Wyndham Championship. These two properties will give us some flexibility and room for growth over the next few years as we continue to enhance our PGA TOUR event.”

The 2019 Wyndham Championship will now offer half-shifts and all-day shifts for certain committees. However, to maintain proper coverage we ask that volunteers serve either (4) half-day shifts or (2) all-day shifts - this is MANDATORY! More bang for your buck: Introducing new Volunteer Package options! Blue $55 (Value of $480) - This is your basic Volunteer Package, which includes (3) Good-Any-Day tickets, a Wyndham Championship shirt, hat, drawstring bag, and other miscellaneous items. Gold $70 (Value of $540) - With this package you will be receiving (4) Good-Any-Day tickets and the same items included in the Blue package. This means that you are receiving an additional Good-Any-Day ticket for the price of $15 (originally $60). Platinum $95 (Value of $640) - In this package you will receive (5) Good-Any-Day tickets and the same items included in the Blue package. With only a $25 increase from the Gold package, you will receive a jacket and an additional Good-Any-Day ticket - what a great deal! You will be able to add on additional items such as a bucket hat, additional shirt, and Good-Any-Day tickets for an extra cost.
