This is a hardwood framed & matted print signed Arthur Sarnoff. This wonderfully illustrated print measures 22 3/4" x 17" (outside frame). Framed & matted under plexiglass, with brown paper backing and a wire for hanging. Research shows this known illustration is of an original oil painting "Greater Greensboro Open" golf tournament, showing tremendous detail of the 18 th hole, with spectators looking on, surrounded by the famous and beautiful Sedgefield Inn. Other research shows the golfer putting on the green could possibly be Gary Player. Famous and well known for his all black golf attire, and if so, this would most likely be an illustration of the "Greater Greensboro Open" of 1970. This piece is in great condition with the only issues to be noted is some tearing of the brown paper backing, few scratches on the wood frame, with some light yellowing of the outer edge of the matting. No fading of the print, with all colors remaining vibrant. This is an estate item, which has been stored in a dry dark room for many years. Wonderfully illustrated print for most any avid Golfer's collection!"
