"1967 Greater Greensboro Open (GGO) Program and Jaycette Projector This program and Jaycees (civic organization and the main sponsor) special editon magazine represent the GGO (what locals called it then) golf tournament played in Greensboro, NC. It is now called the Wyndham Championship. The tournament has had a lot of name changes but it has never left Greensboro and it started in 1938. The program has all the stats, bios, ads, photos, and local info. like any program, plus, many interesting articles. Inside, Woody Durham, yes, the late voice of the UNC Tarheels, was a local t.v. channel sports director then, wrote a synopsis of every GGO played up to 1967. Bob Hope starred at the pre-tournament banquet (see pic). There is a foldout, layout of the course on the first page. George Archer won this 1967 tournament. Some former winners up to 1967 were Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and Sam Snead. The program is packed and has 116 pages. Both items are in very good plus condition."
