Fowler to play 2021 Wyndham Championship

Rickie Fowler will play the 2021 Wyndham Championship. The 82nd annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 11-15, 2021 at Sedgefield Country Club. Fowler is a five-time PGA TOUR winner with three international wins also to his credit. A California native living in Florida, Fowler hasn’t won this season but finished tied for eighth at the PGA Championship, tied for 11th at the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide and tied for 17th at the Valero Texas Open. He represented the United States in the Ryder Cup matches in 2010, ’14, ’16 and ’18, the Presidents Cup in 2015, ’17 and ’19 and as an amateur in the Walker Cup in 2007 and ‘09. Fowler finished tied for 22nd in the 2016 Wyndham Championship, his only Wyndham Championship appearance.
