"Talk about a comeback: Two years after Greensboro almost lost its professional golf tournament, the PGA Tour named the Wyndham Championship its most improved event in 2008.
Tournament director Mark Brazil said the award shows just how far the Wyndham has come in the past two years.
"It's nice to know that the tour agrees with us," he said. "And that's that we believe we have one of the better tournaments on tour.""
