Vintage Greater Greensboro Open GGO Golf Decanter 1976

"This auction is for a vintage 1976 GGO Greater Greensboro Open Declaration of Springtime decanter. These were given away at the 1976 GGO. They are very rare & hard to find. The decanter is No. 50 and made by Royal Halburton. This was the 39th GGO and it was held at Sedgefield County Club on March 29- April 4, 1976. The decanter is in excellent shape. It does not have any nicks or cracks. It measures 4.25 inches wide at the base & 9.5 inches tall. The irons on the top are made of real metal. The rest of the decanter is porcelain."
(The ggoblogger likes to post these items as a sevice to those readers that have an interest in collecting GGO items. These descriptions come directly from the sellers on eBay. I just wanted to point out that this one is flat out wrong about the irons in this golf bag being metal. They are just painted silver and are porcelain just like the rest of the decanter.
