FBI Special Agent Owen Harris of the Charlotte FBI office presented the program with the 2009 Director's Community Leadership Award in a special ceremony. The Greensboro Crime Stoppers program was selected from among 150 cities up for the award this year. Kevin von der Lippe served as 1999 President of the Greensboro Jaycees and Bill Knight served on the 1975 Greater Greensboro Open Executive Committee.
