Wyndham Championship offers free admission to members of military

The 2013 Wyndham Championship is offering free admission to members of the military, including those on active duty, reservists, veterans and their immediate families will receive free admission to the tournament with a current military identification card. Showing its support of the U.S. armed forces, Wyndham Worldwide will provide charter buses to and from the Wyndham Championship from Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base, August 15-18. As the buses arrive at the tournament, the servicemen and women will receive a hero’s welcome from attendees on-site, who line up and show their appreciation. “We are honored to salute the men and women who bravely serve our country with free tournament admission,” said Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO, Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, a division of Wyndham Worldwide. “This initiative compliments our Armed Forces Vacation Club brand, which offers military personnel savings on accommodations in destinations all over the world. This is just another small way for us to say thank you.”
