Webb Simpson and Bill Haas to play 2016 Wyndham Championship

Wake Forest University alumni Webb Simpson and Bill Haas as well as Wake Forest men’s golf coach Jerry Haas will play the 2016 Wyndham Championship set for Aug. 15-21, 2016 at Sedgefield Country Club. Simpson won his first-career PGA TOUR victory at the Wyndham Championship in 2011. Haas finished tied for sixth at last year’s Wyndham Championship and tied for second the year before. Haas’ uncle, Jerry, the Wake Forest University men’s golf coach, will play the Wyndham this year as the 2015 Carolinas PGA Section player of the year. It will be his fifth appearance in the tournament.
