Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., DeJoy attended Stetson University in Florida where he earned an accounting degree. As the honorary chairman, DeJoy is serving as an ambassador for the PGA TOUR event which provides important economic benefits for the entire region and the state. As the Wyndham Championship evolves, the honorary chairman leads the charge to promote Piedmont Triad regionalism through the PGA TOUR event. “I enjoy being involved with things that are well-run and are consequential,” DeJoy said. “The Wyndham Championship is extremely enjoyable and has a significant positive impact on our community. Everything that is worth something takes vision and teamwork. The Wyndham Championship embodies collaboration and success in our community, and I am proud to serve as Honorary Chairman of this year’s tournament.”
