According to a recent email, the Greensboro Jaycees are planning this year's GGO. The Great Golf Outing will take place August 18-20, 2006 at the Sands Ocean Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Just like the 1938 Greater Greensboro Open, this event will be held on two different courses-Arcadian Shores and Waterway Hills.
The cost of this weekend is $209.58 ( This includes golf with cart, your room, 2 breakfasts and all taxes.)
The deadline to sign up for the event is June 26th, 2006 and will be limited to first 24 paid golfers. Please send complete information (name, address, phone number, etc.) along with your roomate preference and a check or money order made payable to the Sands Ocean Club for $209.58 to
