Gate Comments on "GGO Going Regional"

The following excerpt was taken from a post entitled "Ramifications of GGO going Regional"

"One downside of the move to regionalism with the tournament, however, is the fact that charitable money generated from it will not longer be focused primarily with Greensboro charities.

As the tournament spreads its marketing and sponsorship efforts, groups outside our city and county will be given funds. Money which before would have been kept here in Greenboro."
