2008 Memory Walk Honoring Carson Bain

"As most of you are aware, the 2005 Memory Walk honoring Carson Bain raised over $100,000 to help end Alzheimer’s Disease. This year’s walk will be held at Center City Park in downtown Greensboro on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Since this is Greensboro’s 200’th anniversary, what a fitting tribute it would be to beat the 2005 record this year.

My Dad has suffered from Alzheimer’s for over ten years. Sometimes, bad things happen to good people. If the bad thing is a tornado, all we can do is hide in our basement and hope for the best. If the bad thing is Alzheimer’s, I hope you will join me and fight this bad thing head on. I refuse to hide in the basement and hope for the best when fighting Alzheimer’s. I’ll offer you two ways to help."
