Military, Teachers and First Responders Admitted to Wyndham Free of Charge
Members of the Military, Piedmont Triad teachers and first responders will be admitted free of charge to the 2012 Wyndham Championship courtesy of Technology Concepts & Design, Inc. and D.H. Griffin.
Members of the Military, including active duty, reservists, veterans, and their immediate families will be admitted free of charge to the Wyndham Championship by simply showing a current military identification card. Teachers representing Piedmont Triad-area kindergarten through high school institutions and one guest will also receive free admission to the tournament with a current school identification card Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 19. This free admission is courtesy of Technology Concepts & Design, Inc., the presenting sponsor for the Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am on Monday, Aug. 13.
In honor of last year’s 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attack, D.H. Griffin Companies underwrote the cost for all Piedmont Triad first responders and a guest to attend last year’s tournament free of charge. Once again this year, Piedmont Triad Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical Technicians and Law Enforcement Officers need only show a valid identification card to be admitted to the Wyndham Championship free of charge with one guest Wednesday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 19.
“We are honored to salute these three very important groups of people by providing free tournament admission courtesy of Technology Concepts & Design and D.H. Griffin,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “There’s no way we can thank our military enough for putting their lives on the line to protect our freedom, and educating our children is vital in preparing for our future. Our first responders keep us safe every day, and we are extremely happy to host these three groups of heroes. We thank Technology Concepts & Design and D.H. Griffin for making it possible.”
