Adam Scott Joins 2018 Wyndham Field

Adam Scott, the 2013 Masters champion, will play the 2018 Wyndham Championship. Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters after he birdied the second playoff hole to defeat Angel Cabrera at Augusta National. A former No. 1 golfer in the world, Scott has 13 PGA TOUR victories and 13 international wins to his credit. His best finish this season is tied for ninth at the AT&T Byron Nelson. He played for the international team in each of the last eight Presidents Cup Matches. Scott will make his fourth Wyndham Championship appearance and his first since 2015. He is 119th in the FedExCup point standings and 76th in the Official World Golf Rankings. “Anytime we add a Masters champion to our field, it’s great news,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “Adam Scott has been one of the best players in the world over the last 10 years, and as good a player as he is, he’s an even better person. He’s great with fans and sponsors, and I know a ton of people are really excited that he’s coming back to the Wyndham.”
