What's on ebay? GGO Print Signed by Arthur Sarnoff

"Wood Frame Matted Print Signed Arthur Sarnoff. Wonderfully illustrated print of the Greater Greensboro Open Golf Tournament, surrounded by the beautiful Sedgefield Inn. Spectators looking on as Gary Player (well known for his black attire), attempting his putt at the 18th hole. Unsure, but I do believe this to be a lithograph print, however I am unwilling to tear the back off to determine so. Research shows this to be a print of an original painting "SEDGEFIELD" as commissioned for "The Greater Greensboro Open", I believe to be illustrating the 1970 golf tournament. This framed print measures 22 3/4" x 17", original paper backing remains attached, as well as the wire for hanging. Condition of this piece is great, with little to no fading of the very colorful print, colors remaining vibrant. Condition issues to be noted; wood frame has some scratches present, but is sturdy with joints remaining tight. Minimal yellowing around the white matted edges. Original paper backing also remains attached, with few stains, tears, some areas around the edges where it has pulled loose. Glass / Plexiglass is clear, free of any cracks or breaks."

What's on ebay? Framed and Matted GGO Print

"This is a hardwood framed & matted print signed Arthur Sarnoff. This wonderfully illustrated print measures 22 3/4" x 17" (outside frame). Framed & matted under plexiglass, with brown paper backing and a wire for hanging. Research shows this known illustration is of an original oil painting "Greater Greensboro Open" golf tournament, showing tremendous detail of the 18 th hole, with spectators looking on, surrounded by the famous and beautiful Sedgefield Inn. Other research shows the golfer putting on the green could possibly be Gary Player. Famous and well known for his all black golf attire, and if so, this would most likely be an illustration of the "Greater Greensboro Open" of 1970. This piece is in great condition with the only issues to be noted is some tearing of the brown paper backing, few scratches on the wood frame, with some light yellowing of the outer edge of the matting. No fading of the print, with all colors remaining vibrant. This is an estate item, which has been stored in a dry dark room for many years. Wonderfully illustrated print for most any avid Golfer's collection!"
