The 2005 Annual Jaycees Open - Chaired by David Leppert

"This event is chaired by davidleppert Leppert . It will run Friday, June 24, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The location of the event is Sea Trails Plantation, Sunset Beach, NC.

The following is a description of the event:
This project is specifically for recreation and will commence on June 24th of 2005. It will run throughout the weekend. We will be returning to Greensboro on Sunday June 26th. We will leave Greensboro on Friday for Sunset beach NC, specifically the Sea Trail Plantation and Golf Resort. I would like to leave the Jaycees office at 5:00pm. We will arrive at the golf resort at around 8:30pm where we will check in, get situated, and enjoy a night of comradery and friendship.

On Saturday, June 25th, we will golf our first round at the Sea Trail Plantation where we will divide into teams of four. The best team will win a CHAMPIONS TROPHY, and the worst team will win a HIGH STROKER TROPHY. This should help foster teamwork among the groups. We will be playing a captains choice tournament.

Note, you do not have to be a good golfer to enjoy the weekend. Only the best ball is played out of all four shots. Rules will be discussed further upon arrival. I would like to tee off anywhere between 10:00am and Noon. It should take between 4 and 5 hours. After play has come to an end, we will all go to dinner at a yet to be determined location. Later that evening we will again enjoy each others company and possibly find some evening activities (also yet to be determined).

We will be checking out of the hotel on Sunday June 26th, but will be playing our last round of golf that morning. I hope to tee off at 9:00am. That should put our departure time between 1:30pm and 2:30pm. We should arrive back in Greensboro no later than 6:00pm Sunday evening. The cost associated with Golfing and both nights of hotel stay will be $193.00. This number includes the hotel, two rounds of golf, carts, and taxes.
