I ran into Patty Wells at a Holiday event recently and I told her I had a great photo of her accepting an award back in 1985. She told me it must be when she won the Jaycette Worker of the Year Award. She said this was at the very begining of her Jaycee career as the two groups merged the very next year. Little did she know then that in 15 years she would be appointed the 2000 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic General Chairman.
