This is a presidential campaign sticker for Kevin von der Lippe's run for president of the Greensboro Jaycees for the 1998-99 year. The sticker was designed by his brother Bruce von der Lippe and was part of the "Simply the Best" campaign. Kevin would go on to win the election and serve a 16 month term as part of the club's move to a calendar year. von der lippe would also go on to appoint both 2000 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic General Chairman Patty Rumpf and 2001 Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic General Chairman Jeff Iddings. The Greensboro Jaycees also ran three tournaments under von der Lippe's leadership, the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, the Nike Greensboro Open and the AGJA event.

Really there were four Tournaments, as there were two Nike events while I was president. The first one was planned under Kumar's year, and was chaired by Stanhope Johnson, June 25-28, 1998. The second Nike event was chaired by Mike Barber, July 5-11, 1999.
