No good can come from this. This is one of those photos that just makes you think. How does this seem like a good idea? On the bottom row we have Ben Owen, Dave Freeman and Ken Burris. On the top row we have 1999 GGCC General Chairman Bobby Davis, 2000 GGCC General Chairman Patty Rumpf and 1998 General Chairman Ann Vernon Gainey.
I recently asked Ken Burris what was going on in this photo and he claims that it is a metaphor for the fact that the success of the tournament and its General Chairman rest on the shoulders of the chairmen.
In the words of Ben Owen, "There may have been some drinking going on."
