"Helping close those deals will be Steve Jent, who was recently hired as the tournament's new director of sales, replacing Phil McCarn. Jent most recently worked for 3M in Charlotte and has been involved as a volunteer on the business side of both the Wachovia Championship there as well as the Chrysler Classic.
'He basically shadowed me last year during the tournament, and we just let him do it as a favor," Brazil said. "We never knew we would have this opportunity to hire him.' "
