Gate Thinks 90 Jaycees May Be Good Amount

"We were thinking that perhaps people should judge the Jaycees a little more in the context of today than by what they used to be in the past. Yes, they used to be one of the largest chapters in the United States with over a thousand members.

That was a huge number for back then and today. It makes having 90 members pale in comparison.But an organization with 90 members in 2007 is pretty big nowadays. Civic club membership is on the decline nationally, and we bet a lot of organizations would love to have 90 members. In all fairness, we need to remember that and acknowledge it."
