Irishman Padraig Harrington will play the 2011 Wyndham Championship. Harrington was among the last players to finish Friday evening and committed to the field after his round.
He won the British Open in 2007 and 2008 as well as the PGA Championship in 2008. He has five PGA TOUR wins and 16 international wins to his credit. He has represented Europe in Ryder Cup competition six times, played in the World Cup matches 11 times and played in the Dunhill Cup matches six times. He is currently 69th in the official world golf rankings and 130th in the FedExCup point standings. This year’s tournament will be his first appearance in the Wyndham Championship.
