"The Chrysler Classic of Greensboro will move to August starting with the 2007 PGA Tour schedule.
The event will be held Aug. 13-19 and be part of the tour's new FedEx Cup. The cup is billed by the PGA as a "season-long points bonus program for players." Tournaments will lead into a conclusive four-event Championship Series.
The CCG will be the final tournament heading into the series."
