Low TV ratings could threaten Chrysler Classic

"The event could still get caught up in a ratings-based decision, however. CBS, ABC and NBC are the Tour's network television partners, and ESPN, USA and The Golf Channel also carry events, usually on weekdays. Networks just finished negotiating television contracts with the National Football League, and Crosby said those and other sports-league contracts will help determine television deals for the PGA Tour.
