Greensboro Jaycees Distinguished Service Awards March 15, 2006

Join the Greensboro Jaycees at the Distinguished Service Awards BanquetWednesday, March 15 at 6 p.m.Join the Greensboro Jaycees for the event of the year -- the Greensboro Jaycees 2006 Distinguished Service Awards Banquet, sponsored by the host Embassy Suites Hotel and Carolina Kia.The Greensboro Jaycees will honor community leaders and present several awards at the DSA Banquet on Wednesday, March 15 at the Embassy Suites, near the intersection of I-40 and 68. Cost is $5 per person in advance and $10 atthe door. Social is from 6 to 6:45 p.m.; dinner starts at 6:45, and then awards are presented at 7:15.Help the Jaycees celebrate the six honorees in the following categories: Outstanding Teenager, OutstandingYoung Educator, Outstanding Young Farmer, Outstanding Young Public Servant, OutstandingSenior Citizen, and Outstanding Jaycee Employer. The awards are given to citizens in the Guilford Countycommunity who are of Jaycee age (except Outstanding Teenager, Outstanding Senior Citizen,and Outstanding Employer) and who have impacted our community. Each honoree embodies the portionof the Jaycee Creed that states, "Service to Humanity is the best work of Life."The recipients of the Greensboro Jaycees Distinguished Service Awards will compete with otherlocal winners from around the State at the NC Jaycees Spring Convention in May.
