Chrysler Classic of Greensboro and the GreensboroJaycees Announce New Foundation

The Greensboro Jaycees chose the historic backdrop of Starmount Forest Country Club, one of the two homes of the first Greensboro Open, to announce the formation of a new Greensboro Jaycees Charitable Foundation.

This new foundation will be comprised of Community leaders and members of the Greensboro Jaycees. As part of this new agreement, Tournament Director Mark Brazil and his staff will now report to the foundation.

Both the Jaycees and members of the newly formed foundation claim that "Little else will change operationally."

The inaugural board is as follows:Mike Bumpass, Dennis Glass, George House, Bonnie McElveen-Hunter, Bobby Long, Mackey McDonald, Jim Melvin, Billy Nutt, Dr. Jim Renick, General Chairman of the Chrysler Classic, President of the Greensboro Jaycees, Green Coat Club representative, and the Honorary Chairman of the Chrysler Classic.
