"You make some great points in your comments, and I agree with your assessment of the City. It would be nice if the city that enjoys the benefit of having their name mentioned time-after-time on national television would step up and shoulder some additional responsibility.
In regards to the name, it is not the media’s responsibility to name our tournament. I will repeat my comments from "what’s in a name" by asking you to look at your own Green Coat. It says "Greater Greensboro Open," the same name that we (Jaycees, past and present) refer to the tournament by in casual conversation and in our official Greensboro Jaycees, Inc. documents. "

Agreed Kevin, the City should do more than serve up lip service in its support of the tournament.
